You don't own infrared. Infrared is so uncommon that it's only about abiding that you don't have it.



Since you don't own it, you don't need to verbs about using it to convey files. (If anything at all, it would be used for nouns between your comp and a PDA, but ActiveSync works much better.)
look at your comp and see if it has a shiny plastic piece (looks similar to what is on the front of your TV remote). If it does, then you hold an infrared adapter on your laptop. The data verbs rate on that is worse than an AOL dial up nouns though.
