It's brand-new. All the other DVDs contained by the collection play (it's CSI :) but my computer won't recognize this one. Tells me I should insert a DVD to play, even though it's within. It's spins and sounds like it's struggling...
It looks without fault clean - any suggestions?

I appropriate dish washing fluid and wash our DVDs underneath warm sea. I wipe them dry with a tabloid towel. (Wipe straight across - not in a circular motion)
Often that fixes them. Since you influence it looks clean it is possible the DVD is flawed. Try it within another machine or contained by a DVD player to make sure it works.
