how can i return with within to my byos?

The optical drive surrounded by my computer it has be disabled, someone told me to look in my byos, that it might be disabled, but I don't know how

Answer:

They designed BIOS. When you first turn on the computer, you might see text appear that say "F1 for Setup". Try different keys if you do not see that. Try F1, F2, F10 or DELETE.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
To find into your BIOS, look at the very first blind that displays on your laptop. Somewhere on it will be a place where it tell you what key (or knob combination) to press to get into the computer's setup. Press that knob.

(For Dell, it is usually F2, for Compaq is it usually F10, another common one is the Delete key)
press the del push button or the spacebar when you start up your computer
The other answers should work, for getting in your BIOS. But if your optical drive have been disabled, it may hold been disabled contained by Windows rather than surrounded by the BIOS.

If you have WinXP Pro you can check this by going to Start - Settings - Control Panel - System.

Click the tab for Hardware.

Click the button for Device Manager.

Click the + sign beside CDROM to see the drives. If there's an exclamation point, or it say the drive is disabled there, try right clicking on it and try to see it.
