There are firmaware updates which will remove the region lock on the drive. They'll be specific to the model drive you enjoy so you'll have to do some googling and label sure you grab the right one.



If you can't find one specific to unlocking the region code you can also try a short time ago using the latest firmware update provided by the factory owner of the drive...that will usually reset the number of changes support to 5. You could flash the drive with that as repeatedly as necessary.
