Its a bit tricky cos a CD solely holds about 800 meg and probability are your recovery disc is larger than that...bring your mate to bring his laptop round, unscrew the dvd drive and throw it into your laptop, install the system then bequeath it him back the drive. Sounds similar to a scary procedure but it is in good health simple and it works too :)
