I've taken stale all the sounds from my laptop because I use it contained by the library, but instead now I grasp occasional system beeps (when my wi-fi connects or when e-promter picks up alien mail for example), which without a doubt are going to be as annoying to the ppl around me as if I jest had the sounds on.
Is near any way to completely stop these sounds, or probably a windows nouns setting that tricks my computer into not using them?
I'm generally content taking my desktop to bits, but not so much with the laptop, so methods that don’t involve physically removing anything internal would be appreciated.
(Also please don’t bring up to date me t run Linux instead...I do, but what I'm working on right now wishes the workings of the evil genius Billy gate I’m afraid)
Answer:
Do a Restore Point first.
Start Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Control Panel > Sound
Once there, locate Beep on the catalogue on the right.
Right click on it and select Modify
Change the value equal to no
Reboot your computer and the beep will be gone!
I dont get any nouns at all when I mute my volume.

You purely need to mute the nouns. Double click the little speaker icon surrounded by your System Tray (by the clock) and check the box that says Mute All
*control panel, nouns, sounds, go tough the enumerate and disable them
