I accidentally spilled pepsi on the moved out click button of my laptop and now everytime I use it, it sticks. What can I do to fix this? Please sustain me, I dont want to have to cart it to be fixed.
Answer:
I agree with the alcohol, but I reason you will need to receive a drop or two under the button to dilute the stickiness.
Put some rubbing alcohol on a qtip and rub it over the the ivories until it is clean.
try a q-tip swab beside rubbing alcohol and wipe around keys near the computer off or a tooth pick
Use some mitt or baby wipe.
You can actualy pop out the keys of your grand piano with some sharp point. Then you can clean the inside more thoroughly next to some alcohol. I've seen a comp tech do it in the past.
Be careful when popping out the key, the hook that attaches it to the actual body of the board might break if you're not careful.
Anywei, if you cogitate that its too risky to go popping out the key, just stick beside the cotton buds and alcohol.
just pop out the key.....very warily though , u dont want break anything!......i did it once and it worked wonders for my keyboard....
and as they utter..
dont worry a short time ago do it
