My entire computer eyeshade has have a font increase, it is giant now. I also own no sideways screen outline. My laptop model is a Toshiba satellite near an intel celeron processor. It runs on XP also.

try in appearance or display properties contained by the control panel, increase resolution.
start by changing the peak resolution.
Right click on desktop>properties>settings
also change the XP Theme to evasion
Right click on desktop>properties>Themes
yeah, its the resolution. Change it to a high resolution approaching those guys suggested and the font should shrink.
